This is the lower portion of a custom China Hutch. The details and color were matched to an existing kitchen set. The drawers are mounted on full extension roller bearing glides and the doors are mounted with self closing european style, concealed hinges. The wood is Red Oak with, if you can believe it, 2 coats of black enamel and 2 coats of gloss lacquer. You can still see the grain so I guess it isn't as bad as I anticipated. Painting Oak, that's a new one for me.
